Teaching Tip Tuesday: Recognizing Sharp Signs

Teaching Tip #3: Recognizing Sharp Signs

When I'm introducing sharps, I tell them if I poke them with something sharp, they'll jump up. So when they see all the sharp points on the sharp sign, they need to go up a half step.

  • Great idea Amy! Thanks for sharing! When I teach flats I usually tell them to think of a flat tire going down. I'll have to remember your sharp idea!
