Jenny, I love the idea of your Piano Lesson contract with the teacher/parent/student responsibilities. However, I go to my student’s homes so some of the responsibilities need to be modified.
May I use the ideas & wording from the contract while changing some of it so that it better fits my studio? I would not be using the design. Each slide of set of responsibilities would include “Modified from Jennifer Boster’s Piano Lesson Contract, http://www.theteachingstudio.blogspot.com” to ensure that credit is given back to you.
I hope that you will allow me to modify the contract! It makes things very clear for parent & student as to what their responsibilities are. Thanks!
Rosemarie – that would be fine. When giving credit please use theplayfulpiano.com instead of theteachingstudio.blogspot.com as the website has been changed. Thanks!
Hello there- I subscribed to your site last night and was excited to get my 32 page starter pack! However, I can’t get anything to download or even show up on the screen. In fact, my computer ran all night to open that pack and nothing ever happened! I have tried several times. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Any suggestions? 🙂
Hi! Thanks for subscribing to The Playful Piano. Links to download The Free Studio-Starter Pack are sent out in an email within the hour that you subscribe to the website. If you have not received that email, please check your spam or junk mail box, as sometimes it may end up there depending on your email settings.
Your resources are so creative and colorful! I thoroughly enjoyed browsing, and will enjoy receiving emails and promotions with motivation and inspiration. Keep up the good work! I must also say that I had no idea missionary couples were serving in Siberia!
Hi Jenny,
I read about your piano banner but the links no longer work. Do you have a link that works – that would be awesome. Also, is it a full piano keyboard? How many keys are on the banner? Thank you!
Adina
Thanks Adina – when I switched my website over some of the links didn’t switch so thanks for letting me know! I have fixed the links on the post explaining how I had the piano made(https://www.theplayfulpiano.com/2011/04/giant-floor-piano-specifics/). The banner is not a full piano keyboard (that would be super long, but could be pretty fun!). It is a little over 2 octaves long, going from C to E (17 white keys). Hope that helps!
I got an error submitting your contact form, so I thought I would add a comment. Just wanted to let you know that I featured you in a recent article named:
29 Top Piano Blogs That We Love To Follow In 2016.
I love your blog, it has some great information that I keep going back to.
I’m sure you get a ton of emails though, so I’ll keep this short.
I’ve published something on learning to play piano that I think you might be interested in. I would love to get your feedback on it, do you mind if I send you the link?
I would like to buy the Practice tricks pack but I can’t find a supplier of the Avery 4221 labels in the UK. The Amazon page your site connects to says no shipping to the UK. Have you got any ideas?

Thanks so much, Bethany! Yes, my parents served in the Novosibirsk Russia mission which includes Siberia – pretty neat!

What size do the pages print? 8 x 11 or 5 1/2 x 8 1/2?
Hi Kathy – which resource are you referring to?
